The late spring of 2011 has seen more tornado activity than normal. The power of nature can be terrifying and devastating. The photos attached were taken during my deployment to the Alabama tornadoes in May.

Gribble Trial Verdict Guilty All Charges

NASHUA, N.H. – (March 25, 2011) Christopher Gribble was found guilty on Friday in the murder of Mont Vernon mother Kimberly Cates and the brutal assault of her daughter Jaimie in October 2009.

Jurors took two hours to reach a guilty verdict and reject the plea of not guilty by reason of insanity.

March 21, 2011, first day of spring, and snow started falling about noon. There was little accumulation in the southern New Hampshire area.

The short-term weather forecast is for temperatures at or a little below normal with precipitation at or slightly above normal. Volunteer activities to clean up millions of plastic discs along New Hampshire beaches, sponsored and coordinated by New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and the Blue Ocean Society of Portsmouth, began today, March 17, 2011.

Cleanup of discs under way at Hampton and Seabrook Beaches

Volunteers started cleanup of the plastic discs on local beaches.

The discs have been featured on most of the local news outlets for over a week. According to Patty Adell, Programs Coordinator with Blue Ocean, the good volunteer turnout consisted more of people who drove more than 20 minutes than local residents.
